The Postgraduate Studies Unit (PSU), Research and Postgraduate Centre (RPC), is pleased to invite all eligible Master’s and PhD students to participate in the XMUM 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition 2026.
The 3MT competition challenges participants to present their research and its significance in just three minutes using a single presentation slide. It is an excellent opportunity to develop research communication skills, enhance public speaking abilities, and showcase your research to a wider audience.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
The competition is open to all PG by research students at Xiamen University Malaysia. Participants must have successfully passed their Research Proposal Defense (RPD) & yet to attend Viva.

First Runner-up: RM 300
Second Runner-up: RM 200

🌟 People’s Choice Award: RM 100
The People’s Choice Award will be determined through audience voting and presented to the participant whose presentation is voted the most engaging and impactful by the audience.
