Social Innovation Fund (DIS)
Eligibility:
Permanent/contract Malaysian XMUM academic staff
Criteria:
1. A strategic collaboration or smart partnership between researchers and social enterprises (SE) to add value through innovation methods
2. Open to researchers who already have research outcomes (research that has been 100% completed)
3. Involves the transfer of knowledge or technology derived from previous research (previous knowledge or technology transfer) to support and enhance SE in improving the socio-economic well-being of the community
4. Applicants must apply together with SE, where the SE entities must be rated as SE under the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Co-operative Development (KUSKOP, https://www.kuskop.gov.my/PerusahaanSosial/index.ph.)
Strategic Technology Driver Fund (PEMACU 2.0)
Eligibility:
Permanent/contract Malaysian XMUM academic staff
Permanent/contract non-Malaysian XMUM academic staff with a valid work permit throughout the project implementation period and project members must consist of Malaysian citizens with the same field of expertise and from the same institution.
Note:
Must collaborate with SMEs or start-up companies, with a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) submitted as proof of collaboration.

National Vaccine Production Development and Strengthening Fund (DPVN)
Funding under the DPVN is intended to support the Vaccine Development Roadmap (PPVN), which encompasses research, new technologies, processes, innovative products, or value-added improvements to existing technologies/products that have a high impact on society, the economy, and national interests. The PPVN serves as a key reference alongside the National Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (DSTIN) and the National Biotechnology Policy 2.0 (DBN2.0).
The DPVN aims to bridge gaps in the vaccine development ecosystem to enable Malaysia to achieve domestic vaccine production capabilities and establish a complete end-to-end vaccine ecosystem, as outlined in the PPVN.
