Innovation Center congratulates two XMUM teams for winning grand prize and second prize in the 1st China “Artificial Intelligence Plus” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The final of the competition was held on 21 October 2019, at Baidu Campus, Beijing, China.
Jointly organized by China National College Student Alliance for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Practice and Baidu Inc, the event aimed to promote a deep integration between artificial intelligence and innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as to cultivate innovative talents in the field of artificial intelligence.
The two teams representing XMUM are:
Grand Prize Winner: “Team Revealers”
Project Title: “Sixth Sense” Innovative Non-Destructive Antiques Identification Solution
Team Members: Rong Zhixiang and Ding Tingting (Accounting), Ren Yijie (Chemical engineering), Zheng Ziyue (Digital media technology) and Zhong Changxiang (Master student in Chemical Engineering, XMU China).

Second Prize winner: “Team Lions”
Project Title: “Touching the Future” – a smart-watch based finger movement recognition system
Team members: Huang Jiaqi and Zhang Hanyou (Software engineering), Zhou Sujiayue and Huang Wenyu (Finance).
